Welcome to Glazed and Confused Art and Ceramic Studio! We are located in the heart of Tadcaster, right across the street from John Smith's Brewery. There is free parking in our public car park, located directly behind the shop!
Booking is essential whether it is for a paint session, special event, party or more however we are quite happy for walk-ins and will accommodate you if we are able!
We look forward to seeing you soon, sharing some laughs, and making your visit fun!

How It Works
NO MORE STUDIO FEES AS OF JUNE 1,2024!!!!!!!!!!
Here at Glazed and Confused we are looking for more ways to make your visit not only fun but affordable
as well!
We have binned all studio fees per person! This means that the price you pay, is the price on your piece of pottery with no extra fees attached!
This is for general in studio paint sessions only.
Paint sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you are done painting you leave your items with us and we glaze them. This takes about 7-14 days. Once your item is ready to go home, we will message to let you know it is time to collect.

Come in & select the item you would like to paint. We have a wide variety of objects for you to choose from: from plates and cups to trinkets and animals. We hand make many items in our studio that you can select to paint and this makes us unique from other pottery studios!
We have a large selection of professional underglazes for your to choose from to paint your pottery, as well as specialty tools and stencils! We are on hand to help you create the look you want for your piece!
Pieces will need to be left in order to be fired in the kiln. They should be ready in about 7-14 days after you leave. You will be contacted when your piece is ready to be collected!

About The Owner
Hi, I'm Danielle!
Hi I'm Danielle and I am proud to own Glazed and Confused Ceramic and Art Studio. I am just your average small town American girl who found her way back home, to England. I am a Social Worker by degree from America but I have always loved art and in fact my minor is in art. I took two years of ceramics for fun in University, and if anyone had ever told me then I would be owning a ceramics shop now, I would have laughed. I truly love Tadcaster, and seeing all the wonderful things you all create in the studio. I hope to sprinkle a little magic into this town. So come on in, have a cuppa and create something amazing! I look forward to seeing you!
